MISSION, VISION, VALUES

At Saint Mark United Methodist Church, we believe in helping our children find their purpose and express it through worship arts. Our children's worship ministry provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop their talents and connect with God.

Mission

Saint Mark gathers to worship God focused on providing a welcoming community, nurturing spiritual growth, reaching and transforming lives through generous servant leadership.

Vision

To be a beacon of hope and love grace-fully guiding people beyond spiritual and human brokenness to wellness in life through Jesus Christ.

Because we value Bible-centered preaching and teaching we are committed to:

Spirit-filled praise and worship that is vibrant, vital and relevant in reaching Pre-Christians and Christians.

(Psalm 100)

A life of prayer and faith in order to discern God's will for the church and for ourselves. (James 5:13-16)

Intensely comprehensive Christian Education Ministry that focuses on developing and maturing disciples for Jesus Christ as a teaching congregation.

(Colossians 3:16-17)

Nurturing a warm, friendly, accepting atmosphere which believes that all people matter to God.

(Romans 12:10-13)

Team Ministry where we train, equip and provide opportunities for laity and clergy to become partners in ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

Our Value Statements

Meeting the needs of our congregation and community by equipping them to withstand the Spiritual, Social and Mental attacks against their well-being.

(I John 3:17-18 & Acts 4:32-35)

An attractive facility reflecting the glory of God where possibilities and spiritual transformation take place.

(Psalm 90)

Relationship-Building through fellowship, small group activities and ministries that impacts the quality of people's lives.

(Acts 2:42-47)

Knowledge and discovery of spiritual gifts so that excellence in ministry is achieved when every person is exercising his or her God-given spiritual gifts.

(2 Timothy 1:6)
