Pastor Southeast Campus Saint Mark United Methodist Church

Pastor Ronda Kingwood serves as the lead Pastor of the Saint Mark UMC SE Campus. Before becoming the lead Pastor she served as the Director of Magnification for both campuses.  As the Director of Magnification she was charged with overseeing all aspects of worship, which included, planning, developing and implementing new styles of creative worship that embraces all ethnic, generational and cultural backgrounds. She has mentored and raised many leaders and continues to help others to see their potential. During Pastor Kingwood’s tenure as Director of Magnification, she raised the level of worship that was experienced by thousands on any given Sunday morning. That excitement and excellence in worship is now evident in the life of the Saint Mark SE Campus. Every Sunday you will experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit through music, prayer, relevant word and any other way that God chooses to move.

She is also a gifted teacher, preacher and workshop facilitator. She has traveled all over the country facilitating workshops on all aspects of worship.

Under Pastor Kingwood’s leadership, Saint Mark Southeast has experienced steady growth numerically and spiritually; turning the focus of the Southeast Campus from an attractional church to a missional church. She has implemented the “Love you to Life Weekend”, service with the homeless in the park, Loads of Love at the laundromat, Praise on the lawn and many other opportunities to take the church outside the 4 walls.

Pastor Kingwood serves on the Gospel Fest board of the River Festival and she serves on the Worship Arts Editorial Committee with the Fellowship of United Methodist Music and Arts.

Prior to becoming full time in ministry she served 15 years in the mental health business as a state certified Case Manager and trainer, where she worked with S.E.D. children and families by helping them with social issues, structure, life skills, parenting, etc.…  She was also a part of the team that started the program “Families Kan” which was housed in the Wichita Children’s Home and she has also served as an educational advocate for children with special needs.

She has 13 + years of experience in professional theater.

Pastor Ronda Kingwood is living out her call and is currently a course of study student at St. Paul Theological seminary.
