Church School is each Sunday at 9:00am.  From age the 3 year old toddler, to 5th grade—our overall theme is to “Build the Village through Church School”.  Our focus is on building an effective and loving Church School experience for our children.  The “Live Big” curriculum from Cokesbury, which gives teachers multifaceted tools for presenting lessons, is mainly used.  Join one of our many classes, we look forward to seeing you!

Children Worship TOO! – Worship celebration is each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. for our Kindergarten through 5th grade.  These young people participate in all facets of worship.  Here are just a few, GET CONNECTED NOW!

• 1st –Communion Day observed for children in their service.
•  2nn, 3rd, & 4th, regular worship service for children, this includes children participating in lessons that correlate with the Senior Pastor’s Thematic Series, Bible verses are learned, puppets ministry helps to enhance learning, Bible games and activities are also used to reinforce learning, many learning opportunities are given to the children.  Guest speakers are invited in to share God’s Word with the students, and each Sunday, children take home their own Worship bulletin with a variety of activities to do during the week.  The children enjoy and participate in their own Praise Team; their leader is a young innovative lover of children.  We have two dynamic teachers who deliver the lessons clear and precise to the children, using a myriad of tools.  They also work on art and craft projects that reflect their current Bible lessons.  Children are learning the power of praise and worship as they fellowship.

• 5th –Family Worship Day-children worship in the Sanctuary with family and friends.

Each Wednesday while adults are enjoying the powerful teachings during “The Journey”, the Kids For Christ Wednesday Night Live Program is jumping, too!

Kids for Christ is an interactive evening of teaching and learning.  Teachers implement different kinds of learning stations by using a rotation system for kids to experience while learning.  These stations include “CSI”, Christian Scripture Investigation) station, craft station, snack station, game station and transformation station.  Immediate and long-term incentive goals have been implemented to encourage and empower children. Stations are fun, interactive and are usually theme oriented. 

Babes in Christ ministry provide child care for infants and toddlers in a nurturing, loving Christian environment.   This ministry seeks to develop children socially, emotionally and spiritually.  The activities include Bible lessons, faith-based videos, music, learning centers, learning games, and praise and worship opportunities.  This ministry is offered to parents during the Worship Celebrations, most church events and church meetings.  The Nursery is divided into 3 main areas: infants: 0-1 yr. old; infants: 1½ - 2 year olds, and toddlers 3-4 year olds, on Sundays only.
 
During the weeknights and special events the Nursery is open to ages 0-5th grade.
